IB UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS MATCHER
IB University Requirements Matcher
Enter your predicted total and your HL subjects and grades to compare them with the published requirements of listed university programmes. This is a comparison with published numbers, not a prediction of admission. Anything we could not verify is marked "not verified".
Everything you type is calculated in your browser only. Nothing is sent or stored, and no email address or contact details are needed.

How the comparison works and what it assumes
Each listed programme's IB requirement (total points, HL grades, subject conditions) is compared with your entries item by item. HL grades such as "766" are checked by sorting your top three HL grades from highest to lowest and testing each position. Subject conditions check whether the named subject (or any of several) is at or above the required grade.
Every record carries a source URL, entry year, last-checked date and how it was read. Anything the university does not publish, or that Petra could not verify, is shown as "not verified", never guessed. Records whose official page could not be opened are shown for reference only. The list covers only some programmes and is growing.
Reading your result
"Appears to meet the published minimum" means your numbers satisfy the listed figures. It does not mean an offer. Many universities add selection on top: interviews, extra tests and application review.
"Below the published requirement" does not mean you cannot be admitted. Some universities vary offers or consider individual circumstances. Always confirm on the university's official page.
What this tool cannot tell you
- It does not estimate admission chances or acceptance rates, and it does not label universities safety, target or reach.
- Extra tests, interviews, portfolios, activities and references are not compared; they are shown only where the requirement lists them.
- Some universities' typical offers differ from their minimums. Read each record's note.
- Only some programmes are listed. A programme being absent does not mean it has no requirement.

Frequently asked questions
Questions we are often asked about reading the result.
If it says "appears to meet", can I apply?
The university decides eligibility. This tool only compares your numbers with the listed figures and does not show whether you may apply or will be admitted. Always check the official page.
The university I want is not listed.
Only some programmes are listed. If yours is missing, check the entry requirements on the university's own website.
How current is the data?
Each record shows its last-checked date and entry year. Requirements change, so re-check on the official page before applying.
What if I do not know my predicted total?
Leave it blank. That item shows "needs input" and only the items you filled in, such as HL grades, are compared. The IB Score Calculator can work out a total from six subjects.
