1. Who is responsible

This website is operated by ペトラエデュケーション合同会社 (Petra Education G.K.), Tokyo, Japan. The company is responsible for personal data collected through this website. Contact: admin@petratutors.com

2. What we collect

• What you write in an enquiry email: your name, email address, your child's year group and learning needs, preferred times and anything else you choose to share. A phone number only if you give one.
• Usage information such as pages viewed and clicks, only if you allow analytics.
• Information stored in your browser that the site needs to work, such as your language choice.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a free trial lesson or suggest a tutor, and run lessons if you go ahead. This is done at your request.
• To understand how the website is used, only if you give consent to analytics.

4. Who we share it with

We share the details needed to arrange lessons with the tutor we propose. We use providers for email, video calls and calendars (Google Meet and Google Calendar) and for website hosting (Vercel). If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, Vercel Web Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. We do not sell personal data.

5. Where it is handled

Data is handled in Japan and where these providers operate, which includes places outside the European Economic Area.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond and to run lessons. Tell us if you would like them deleted.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent. Email admin@petratutors.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Children

Please ask a parent or guardian to send enquiries about a child.
