In-person lessons are not always possible, depending on tutor availability and location. If that is the case, we will suggest online lessons instead.
What is included in the price
The lesson price also covers tutor matching and progress reporting.
Tutor matching
We suggest tutors based on the student's goals, current level, learning style, language needs, location and availability.
Changing tutor
If the fit or approach is not right, we will suggest another tutor at no extra charge.
Progress updates
We tell you what was covered, how the student got on and what comes next.
Parent support
Questions and communication about the service can be in English or Japanese.
About our prices
Prices are for a one-to-one 60-minute lesson. There is no registration fee, and the in-person price includes usual travel within our service area. In-person availability depends on the tutor and location.

Is there a registration fee?
No. There is no registration fee.
Is the first trial lesson really free?
Yes. The first trial lesson is free. Afterwards you can decide whether to continue.
Do online and in-person lessons cost the same?
No. Online lessons are €49 per 60 minutes and in-person lessons are €59 per 60 minutes. The in-person price includes usual travel within our service area.
Do you charge for tutor matching or for changing tutor?
No. Both matching and changing tutor are included in the price.
Are progress updates and parent support included?
Yes. Progress updates and parent support are included, and you can use English or Japanese.
Do I have to sign up after the trial?
No. After the trial you can take time to decide whether to continue.
Where can in-person lessons take place?
We mainly offer them in Amstelveen and Amsterdam. For other areas, please get in touch, as it depends on tutor availability and travel distance.
